This series of etchings is structured by the line.

The incisions on metal are not about filling the void but giving it prominence. From the imprint and the shadow comes the line. Fluidity, cut, and trace. Darkness sought in the depths of black; at the end of every gesture, some light.

Line values that sometimes escape, lonely, at intervals, in spacings, and sometimes come together in planes of intense pigment. Strength, weight, intensity, depth: poetic density.

The planes created either by lines or stains expose a small deviation: they are not centered on the paper, because they are free to be mounted in the corners or closer to the ceiling, suggesting a new path to the eye.

Thus, my project consists of presenting matrices that unfold according to the exhibition space. Subdivided into series, these etchings are like fragments of a larger work.
